What's the minimum order?

There isn't one. Most sourcing agents quote a few hundred units as a floor because they work with a single factory, and that factory needs the run to be worth setting up for. We work across a network instead, so there is a route to making what you want even if that means a single sample. Volume still moves the price, and the more you order the lower the unit cost gets. But volume decides what you pay, not whether we will make it.

How fast is this, really?

Five minutes is your part: writing the brief and picking a quote. Physical goods still take weeks to manufacture and ship, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. What changes is where the waiting happens. Most merch projects lose three weeks in an email thread before a single factory has seen the spec. With Nomu that stretch is gone, so the only time left is the time it actually takes to make the thing.

What does Nomu cost?

Accepted Answer

The platform is free. No subscription, no seat fee, no setup fee. You can be onboarded, brief a product, compare quotes and hold a sample in your hands without paying us anything. We make our money on the orders we run for you, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a promotion: it means we are only paid once your product is actually being made and sold. Nobody here is earning off a licence you forgot to cancel, so getting your product right is the only way this works for us.

Question 4

What if a batch comes back wrong?

We fix it. Depending on what went wrong that means a re-run, a partial refund, or a full one, and we sort it with the factory ourselves. Most of the time it doesn't get that far, because we QC at the factory on the samples and again on the run, before anything ships. Even if it's not our fault, if something goes wrong with your order, we make it our problem.

What if I don't have a product yet?

Accepted Answer

That is the normal starting point. You write a brief with us: what you want to make, who it is for, what budget you are working with. Our agents match that brief to the manufacturers best suited to it and come back with quotes. You order samples, hold them, change what you do not like, lock the specs. Production and logistics run from there.

Question 6

Do I need to know anything about crypto to use Nomu?

Accepted Answer

No. Your buyers check out with cards or with SPL tokens, whichever they prefer. The crypto layer is invisible to you unless you want it, and holder programs and on-chain drops are there for the brands that ask for them. Nothing in Nomu requires you to learn a new vocabulary.
